Breast Cancer Awareness with Youngblood Crushed Mineral Blushes…review, photos, and swatches.

October is national Breast Cancer Awareness month and many brands out there offer special products that when bought a portion of the sales will be donated in support of breast cancer awareness. Youngblood Cosmetics is one of those brands who will be donating a portion of proceeds from sales. From October 11-31, every Crushed Mineral Blush in the shades Dusty Pink, Sherbet and Tulip ($22 USD) will be donated to the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.

I have the following two shades of the Crushed Mineral Blush:

  • Tulip: A beautiful sheer baby doll pink with a Satin finish.
  • Sherbet: A shimmery peachy pink shade with hints of gold in it.

I have been really enjoying both of these blushes because of how effortlessly they blend into the skin and how natural they look when on. They both have great pigmentation even for how sheer they are! For days that I want more of a pop of color on my cheeks, these blushes are very buildable without looking over done or cakey.

I recently did my little sisters makeup and photographed her engagement photos. She hardly ever wears makeup so I wanted to do a very natural look on her and knew the perfect blush to use for a natural flush of color! I used Tulip on her cheeks and think it worked beautiful on her skin for a perfect natural look.
