I am happy to announce that I am new member of the Glam Beauty Board in which we get quarterly boxes full of products perfect for the current season! This box was full of fabulous goodies that I am excited to share with you all!
Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner, ($5 each)
This duo is said to soothe dry, frizzy and rough hair without leaving your hair greasy. It is fortified with natural almond and mineral oils that are sure to lock in the moisture leaving your hair smooth, shiny and soft.
Let me first start of by saying both the shampoo and conditioner smell divine! I cant really describe the smell but if I had to it’s a nice slightly sweet clean scent smell. I found the duo left my hair as it promised, smooth shiny and soft without weighing it down. For someone who already has very thin lifeless hair, I cant afford for any products to weigh my hair down so I really appreciate that this duo didn’t. Overall for a drugstore brand at an affordable price, I do find the quality of it to be very nice.
Ojon Super Sleek Restorative Blowout Perfector, $25
Are you in need of some major hair repair? The Ojon Super Sleek Restorative Blowout Perfector is sure to help you out in that department! It will leave your locks sleek and polished! Can you say goodbye blow-dryer frizz and unruly hair? Hello Fabulous!
I am in love with this stuff! I am one of those people who have unruly frizz after using a blow dryer or even leaving my hair to air dry. A pea sized amount of this in my hair leaves my locks sleek with little to no frizz. See my final photos below to see how frizz free my hair is and using this!
La Face PUR Purifying Facial Wash, ($48)
Next up is a multifunctional cleanser and toner. This facial was removes makeup and impurities with its gentle foaming cleanser all while moisturizing and tightening your pores. Your skin will be left feeling clean and refreshed, not tight and dry.
I really enjoyed using this purifying facial wash, especially because of how clean my face felt after using it. I do feel like it took of my makeup really well (except eye makeup which is expected) and left my skin feeling very clean. Most of you know I have really bad adult acne right now and while this product did not break me out further it also did nothing for my acne (I didn’t expect it to because it doesn’t state it will). Overall it’s a really nice facial wash that does exactly what it states it will do.
Juara Invigorating Coffee Scrub, $37
I have used coffee scrubs in the past and they are by far my favorite type of scrubs. The Juara Invigorating Coffee Scrub is made with fresh Indonesian coffee beans that provide you with a gentle lathering foam useable all over your body. Feel free to use this as a replacement from your usual loofa and soap. It is paraben-free and smells AMAZING! It actually smells like a fresh, moist, deep chocolate cake with a coffee twist, umm yumm! This left my skin feeling amazingly soft!
Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase Wrinkle Repair Day & Night Cream, $25
The Dr. LeWinn Wrinkle Repair Day & Night Cream is great for those who have dry skin. I currently have oily skin on my face but in the cold winter months I tend to get dryer skin on my face. This cream is used both day & night to erase those unfriendly wrinkles we all hate while keeping your skin smooth and supple. It also looks great under makeup so don’t feel like you cant use it in the day!
Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Body Lotion with SPF 15, $11
![]()
I am so happy that I got to try this lotion out. Most of you already know that I have really bad skin on my face but I also have really sensitive dry skin on my body. And when I say dry I truly mean dry, like alligator rough (my stress levels have done a number on my skin
). This lotion has been an AMAZING lifesaver for my dry skin. It is Lightweight, fragrance free, and moisturizes my incredibly dry skin while keeping it protected! Best part is, it does not irritate or break out my sensitive skin, bonus!
Almay Wake Up Liquid Makeup, $12
Almay’s new liquid foundation contains broad spectrum SPF 20 and energizing caffeine. Having adult acne I have to use full coverage foundations and the Almay Wake Up Liquid foundation dose not provide that for me. It is more ideal for those who want a light coverage with combination to oily skin. Although it did not work for me it may do wonders for you if you already have good skin that needs little coverage.
Benefit Bella Bamba Blush, $28
![]()
I have heard so many great things about Benefits boxed blushes and have been wanting to try out one out for the longest time now. There is a reason these blushes are so hyped, they are amazing! This one in particular is a beautiful pink shade with flecks of gold it in. It is a great shade that will complement both warm or cool toned skin.
Lorac TANtalizer Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo, $32
![]()
LOVE LOVE this highlighter/bronzer duo! I have been looking for a good MATTE bronzer for contouring and I finally have it now! It provides a very natural looking matte finish. The highlighter side has a nice subtle
sheen to it and looks beautiful when applied under the eyes and on the cupids bow. For those days you want a shimmery bronze glow it looks great layered on top of the matte bronzer.
Almay Wake Up Eyeliner/Highlighter ($8)
Almay’s Wake Up eyeliner/highlighter is a great pencil stick with a smooth long wearing liner on one end and a shimmery highlighter on the other end. I was able to try out the duo in jet black for the eyeliner and iced gold for the highlighter. The liner glides on easily and has good pigmentation. I really love the highlighter end. It is a beautiful creamy light gold shade with shimmer to it.
Almay Wakeup Eye Shadow/Primer, ($8)
I love how this palette comes with a primer making it good for on the go days! It also comes with a nice all over shadow and two deeper shades perfect for the fall. The shadows are very soft and beautiful, I was actually very impressed with this quad and how well the shadows popped on my lids and how easy they were to apply. I highly recommend this palette, especially with its affordable price tag.
MARK Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon, $11
![]()
I am a huge fan or the color crayons! This is my first time trying MARK’s color crayon and I am super impressed with it. It was very soft creamy and easy to apply. Even better, I can eat full meals and this stuff wont bug off my lips! Perfect for those of you who fear wearing red lips because it will fade off leaving your lips a mess. This will not fade off for hours even during eating meals!
Modella Makeup Bag, $3
You can never have to many of these bags! They are perfect for so many things and so affordable! I actually have several of them and love using them for keeping my purse organized. I have one for feminine products, one for makeup, one for perfumes and lotions, and one for snacks.
Orly Nail Lacquer in Smolder, $5
![]()
With fall here I have really been enjoying deep red shades for my nails. Smolder by Orly is a very deep red wine color with shimmer in it making a perfect choice for your nails this fall season!
