Rivet Pant
I love to wear cropped workout pants in the summer time and I typically go for a tighter workout out pant; however, I decided to try out a different style this time. I choose the Rivet pant because it still had a tight fit but at the end it had a slight flare. I did order the small but I probably could have gone with an x-small for a more flattering fit on me. Here is what I have to say about the pants:
The material is beyond comfortable to wear and very easy to move in. I was able to wear them comfortably while doing my cardio, stretching, and strength training workouts. I have washed them without any problems with shrinking, colors fading or material being worn out. I think they are a great pant and I will be getting a lot of use out of them!
Wearing the Rivet while doing my cardio
I like to do 20-30 minutes of cardio a day. Whether I am using a cardio machine, taking the dog for a run, riding bikes, etc. it all counts!
Stretching my hips out as part of my starting exercise:
This stretch helps the muscles around the hips, buttocks and on the side of your low back. To do this stretch simply lie on your back with both legs outstretched. Grab your leg and gently pull your leg toward your shoulder until you feel a mild, comfortable stretch. When you are done stretching the one leg, relax the muscles by allowing your left thigh to move back to the starting position and switch to your alternate leg. Do this stretch to each leg at least three times.
Doing Basic Sit-ups while wearing the Rivet Pant:
Start with your knees bent and balls of the feet placed on the ground. Place your hand behind your head, tighten your abdominal muscles, lift your head and pull up to a 90 degree angle. Hold this position for a few seconds and slowly bring yourself back to the starting position.
Doing curls on the stability ball while wearing the Rivet Pants
Start by sitting on the stability ball with your feet shoulder width apart and pointing straight ahead. Holding a dumbbell in each hand, alternate a curl with each arm. Do 12-20 reps at a time three times through.
Prima Top
I also ordered a size small in the top but believe I should have gone with a size x-small because there was a little puckering in the fabric along the chest area. Here is what I have to say about this top:
The top has a built in shelf bra that really gives a great amount of support. I almost always wear a sports bra underneath my tops that offer a built in bra because it does not offer enough support, that is not the case with this bra. I am able to wear this top without any extra added support! Being a smaller chested women I really enjoyed that this top offered a little extra padding within the built in bra. If you don’t like padding you can easily remove it. The top runs longer than many of the other tops I own which is great if you are tall. I am actually really short but I think the length of the top looks great with tight leggings. I enjoy wearing this top running and also really like the cut of the top in the back.
