FHI Heat KORE Spring Grip Curling Irons
If you have been a follower on my blog for a while now, you would know that I rarely ever curled my hair with a curling iron. Instead of a curling iron I would use a curling wand. Why you ask? Simply because it was the only way I could get my curls to stay in my hair. I have extremely pin straight hair and getting it to hold a curl is not always the easiest thing to do. Almost every time I would curl my hair it would fall out. Due to this I was hesitant on trying out the FHI Heat KORE curling iron which I had read great things about. I am so happy that I gave it the Kore Curling iron a chance because it has become my go to iron and I couldn’t be happier with the amazing results I get from it!
The curling iron comes in three classic sizes:
3/4 inch for a tight curl pattern
1-inch barrel for medium size curls
1 ¼-inch barrel for large voluminous waving (This is the size I have)
The Kore curling irons offer RapidTek Technology with the widest range of temperatures from —200°F to 410°F (60°C-232°C). I love how fast the iron heats up, especially when I am rushing out the door that morning. In fact, the iron heats up five times faster than the typical copper coil heater found in most other curling irons. Due to the RapidTek Technology the iron is able to hold the curl at any temperature you choose, enhancing the memory of the curl or wave for consistent, long-lasting results. Hence why my hair is able to hold a curl from this iron!
One of my favorite features about this iron is that is glides effortlessly through my hair without losing its hold. I can’t even tell you how many curling irons I have tried that either hold my hair too tight, making it almost impossible to curl my hair the way I like or the ones that glide effortlessly through my hair are too smooth, letting all my hair out before it can curl. The KORE Curling Iron has anodized aluminum barrels, which allows for an ultra-smooth, non-stick surface that effortlessly glides through your hair without letting the hair fall out before you want it to.
Another cool fact about the Anodized Aluminum Barrels is that they are extremely durable because they are second in hardness only to diamonds and have a melting point of 1221° F! The anodizing process creates a deep rich metallic luster that will not fade or tarnish over time, is resistant to chipping, peeling and scratching and is extremely easy to maintain. Plus, the anodizing process is non-harmful, has virtually no environmental impact and creates aluminum surfaces that are fully recyclable. This curling iron is simply AMAZING!
It gets even better though, the KORE curling also contain FHI Heat’s proprietary Nano-Fuzeion™ technology. What does that mean? It means that it uses a unique combination of Nano-Titanium Oxide and Nano-Silver particles that leave your hair shiny and soft. We all want that, right? I do! It also removes chemical build-up, toxins, bacteria, static and impurities. Finally the tourmaline seals in the moisture and color for a silky smooth and shiny hair style!
Video and Pictures
To show you just how amazing this curling iron is, I have put together my very first YouTube video (sorry if the lighting and everything else is off, it was my first video and first time editing like this) on how I curl my every day hair. I am using my 1 1/4 inch KORE curling iron for the video so you can see the results for yourself!
I also took several different photos of my hair on different days of me using the KORE curling iron.
The curls hold so well it makes for the perfect second day hair style.
Summing it up
