Picasso Hair Feathers Review plus a Giveaway to come soon in the 2012 Spring Fashionista Event!

Picasso Hair Feathers

Hair feathers and colored hair extensions  have been one of the newest fashion trends lately. The first type of hair feathers I heard about were real rooster feathers; however, I wasn’t sure I liked the idea of using the real rooster feather. Many places actually would raise the roosters solely for this new fashion trend which contributes to brutality and slaughter of thousands of roosters. I was against this but I did still wanted to get in on this new fashion trend. I liked the idea of adding color to my hair without actually chemically dying my hair. This way it was not permanent and did not damage my hair. While looking into alternatives to real rooster feathers I came across the company called Picasso Hair Feathers who sells synthetic feathers that are cruelty-free. I really liked the color choices they offered and loved the fact that they were cruelty free. I was super excited when they offered to send me a pack for review and one for giveaway for my readers! (giveaway will be part of the Spring Fashionista Event that starts March 2nd!)

I received the Princess 5-pack from Picasso Hair Feathers, which features a mixture of blue, pink, and purple hues. They carry different color packs and they sell the feathers in 5, 12, and 25 packs. Each feather is 14 inches in length, guaranteed kink-free, and can be cut and styled any way you like. I really love the princess pack, it reminds my of cotton candy Smile

Applying the Picasso Hair Feathers is relatively simple after you figure out what you are doing. I did not personally apply them to my hair because my sister is a hair dresser and I just asked her to apply them in my hair.  I would recommend watching a short video below on how to apply the feathers in your hair for easy application.

I really enjoyed using the Picasso Hair Feathers in my hair as a fun way to explore a new, unique look!  Each feather lasts for 4 to 6 weeks and can be washed and styled, even with a blow dryer, flatiron, and curling iron. They can also be removed at any time and then reapplies again as long as they are still in good condition. To do this, just squeeze the sides of the micro-ring on the top of the feather until it opens up and slide it out of your hair.  How awesome is that!
